Rob bought the ring after searching for several months and planned to take Candace to Canoe, a restaurant in Marietta that features views of the Chattahoochee River and a beautiful garden area. The date was October 26th, the day before Candace's birthday.

Rob took Candace to the garden and she could tell he was nervous, but then he lead her back inside and they had dinner. 

After dinner, the two went back outside. The garden was now lit up by string lights. Rob led Candace down to the edge of the river and got down on one knee and, of course, she said yes!
