FAQs

How do I get to the Resort?
If you booked through Pink Ribbon  Trave ,transportation details will be provided to you via email  with information on the transportation company. If you booked your own travel please  refer to a taxi outside of the airport ( some are nice enough to provide private or on call transportation.)

 What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code is Beach-formal / cocktail party attire.  Come dressed to impress! Please stay within the color scheme of White, Cream, & Shades of tan. MEN: full Suits/tux are not required. 


What will the weather be like this time of year?
Though we can’t predict rain this early in advance, it is possible to experience a sporadic rain shower. June tends to bring  higher temperatures & very humid heat.

What time should I arrive? 
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Every thing will be held at the resort Jewel Grande. The ceremony will be outdoors, on the lawn pavilion while the cocktail hour and reception will be held in the indoor ballroom and terrace area.


 What happens after the ceremony?After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. This may include the wedding guest. Closer to date, further instruction on whether the guest will head straight to the cocktail area  or stick around for pictures ,will be provided ,as break down and set up will be taking place during that transition. 

Does your wedding have a theme?There is no theme. As stated above, please abide by the color scheme, which includes white cream and/or shades of tan.

Will there be other wedding events I  can attend?

 To welcome all of our guest, we have arranged  a cocktail hour &  a crab boil on the property prior to the wedding. Please check back on the event tab for exact dates and times of these events.

Are kids welcome?
There will be kids in attendance.

Can I bring a date?  
 
We know some may have brought additional guests on vacation, but please remember this will not grant  YOUR additional guests access or permission to the wedding. We have a strict guest list to stay on budget & will be going off of RSVP only. We will only  accommodate those who confirmed head count on February 20,2022. 

What should I do if I can’t make it

All RSVPs have been accounted for and are nonrefundable to the bride and groom as of May 1st, 2022. If there will be a change in your attendance prior to May 1st, please let us know ASAP. Also  contact the travel insurance company that issued your policy if applicable.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Though RSVP deadline was February 20, 2022, we will allow you until May 1st to inform us on any changes to your RSVP.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?    Yes it is.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

There will be  hot and cold hors d’oeuvres for both the cocktail hour and the reception, as well as alcoholic /nonalcoholic beverages.No plated style dinner will be served. With this said ,the wedding will be over at a decent time for you to enjoy one of the many on-site restaurants, that is included with your all inclusive package.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?If you wish to request a special diet option please let either the bride or groom know by May 1, 2022 so that we may include this in the menu.

Do you prefer monetary  gifts ?

We are very grateful for any gift you decide to give. BUT YES! lol gift cards to any home appliance or furniture store  will be great! (Walmart, Target, Kirklands, Home Goods, At Home , lowes, Home Depot etc)

Where are you registered?  

The goal is to be registered at Amazon & Bed Bath Beyond  by April 1, 2022,but gift cards to any location or a monetary gift will be just as great.  We will also have a QR CODE Sign in Jamaica for monetary gifts and donations! 

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?  

Yes. For those staying at the resort,a bellman will assist with providing a taxi and making sure you are accounted for when leaving the property. Otherwise, larger groups of 8 or more can arrange  private transfer with pink ribbon travel ( any island tours , outside dining  & nightclubs, excluding excursions) 

 May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?    

Souvenirs and thank you gifts will be provided. Please refrain from taking any flowers from the centerpieces until after the reception. 

  Is this an unplugged event?

       Yes, please refrain from using any cell phones, flash photography, taking pictures, or video recordings during the  ceremony & in the ceremony area.  We have spent a great amount  to have our personal photographer apart of this event, capturing everyone & our special moment.  Photos and video recording can resume during the cocktail hour and reception.

Can I post pictures on social media?

We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels! Our only Two request are that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TheWrightWay  ,so we can keep up with missed moments &  secondly,during the ceremony all pictures and video recording is at a halt.

Will there be excursions?   

Excursions are available for purchase at your own leisure. Under the travel tab,You can find the link  to two different excursion companies that will be servicing us during our stay.  Group excursions will be fun and discussed but not a requirement. Enjoy your vacation!
